Police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspects responsible for the murder of an Asian man in San Jose, as reported by KRON4. Officials say 55-year-old Thu Nguyen was shot and killed on March 5th in the early morning on Glen Keats Ct and Glen Ferguson Circle.

A preliminary investigation has revealed that the suspects were tampering with Nguyen’s car. When Nguyen confronted them, he was shot and killed in front of his son who was coming to help him.

Officers say there were at least two suspects involved in the incident, with at least one being a man. They’re now looking for tips to identify the vehicle caught on camera, which appears to be a silver sedan. At this point, officials say they don’t believe the homicide was racially motivated.
