Falcon was attacked for “no apparent reason.”

A suspect has been arrested in connection to the attack that left Juanito Falcon, a 74-year-old Asian grandfather, dead this past February. Falcon was attacked for “no apparent reason” as he was walking near 17th Avenue and Bethany Home Road at 11 am on February 16th, according to the Phoenix Police.

Falcon suffered from several head injuries and was rushed to the hospital. However, he died two days later. Police arrested 40-year-old Marcus Williams, who was taken into custody on March 3rd and charged with one count of murder, as reported by 12 News.

Falcon leaves behind a wife, a daughter, and four grandchildren. When describing him, loved ones said, “He was chatty and friendly. He would approach anyone with a smile and was not afraid to make friends. He lived a simple life, but was never without a story or advice to share.”
