Studio Ghibli recently announced an opening date for their highly anticipated upcoming theme park, ‘Ghibli Park’.

The park, which is located in the city of Nagakute in Aichi Prefecture, will open its doors on November 1st of this year. At launch, at least one of the park’s five currently planned themed sections will be open.

The section based on “My Neighbor Totoro” will be the first to open. Two more areas, one based on “Princess Mononoke” and another inspired by “Kiki’s Delivery Service” and “Howl’s Moving Castle” will open next year. The promo video can be seen below.
