New York Set to Allocate $10 Million in New Funding for Asian American Community Organizations
The investment is the state's largest to date in the Asian American community.
New York Governor Kathy Hochul recently announced $10 million in new funding for Asian American community organizations, the state’s largest investment to date in the Asian American community.
The Asian American Federation (AAF) will receive a total of $6.8 million in funding which they’ll then direct to 59 local community organizations while $1 million in funding will go to The Coalition for Asian American Children and Families and $700,000 will go to The Chinese-American Planning Council.
The remainder of the funds will be distributed to 40 additional community organizations around the state.
