Netflix’s new anime series ‘Kotaro Lives Alone’ tells the touching story of a four-year-old boy named Kotaro Sato and his adventures as he moves into Shimizu Apartments to live by himself.

The anime is based on the manga series of the same name by Mami Tsumura, which is regarded as one of “the most heartwarming mangas in Japan” with over 1.4 million copies sold.
