Hoyeon Jung has made history as the first Korean actress to be included on Time Magazine’s “TIME100 NEXT” list.

The list is described to recognize 100 individuals who “shape our world and define our future” with their “extraordinary efforts.”

Her dedication was written by ‘Squid Game’ director Hwang Dong-hyuk, who wrote about his experience of casting her for the widely popular series, “In less than 10 seconds, I found myself sitting upright, captivated by what was on the screen. Instantly, I knew she was going to be Sae-byeok.”
