‘Children of the Mist’ made history as the first Vietnamese film to make the Oscars documentary shortlist.

The film follows the story of Di, a 13-year-old Hmong girl living in the mountains of northern Vietnam. The official nominations for the 95th Academy Awards will be announced on January 24th, 2023.
