Lionsgate’s highly anticipated upcoming comedy ‘Joy Ride’ is set to open this year’s CAAMFest hosted by the Center for Asian American Media.

The film, which is directed by Adele Lim and stars Ashley Park, Sherry Cola, Stephanie Hsu, and Sabrina W, is described as the following: “The hilarious and unapologetically explicit story of identity and self-discovery centers on four unlikely friends who embark on a once-in-a-lifetime international adventure.”

The festival will kick off on May 11th at The Castro Theater in San Francisco, with the film set to release in theaters on July 7th.
